Family dinner:

Well it’s closer than you think and if the world didn’t come to an end today we will be having the dinner on Thursday, June 9^th.  Where or where you say old chum?  It’s a secret, well not really but I think a really fun place with good food.

On the “Today” show this morning there was a story about identity theft of new born OR before children were born.  Thieves were able to steal SSN #’s and charge huge amounts on credit using these stolen SSN #’s.

Derby will be over soon and maybe the rain will stop and that might make it easier to get to our May dinner spot.  Some of you suggest we revisit this location and that sounds great to me. Sooooooo here we go.

PLACE:     Westport General Store in Westport, KY

WEBSITE: http://www.westportgeneralstore.com/ you can look at the website but I heard on the radio, I believe, that they have changed their menu to a “Road House menu”, whatever that is.  But we have been there before and always enjoyed ourselves.  It’s a beautiful drive our US 42, about ½ hour.  Depending on how far the Ohio river is up we may be able to stick our toes in it from our table.
